THE LAUSD EXCESSIVE HEAT POLICY - BULLETIN 963: What part of “must” is so hard to understand?

by smf for 4LAKidsNews

Re news stories of the cross country meet held in triple digit temperatures – with ten kids taken to the hospital: This is a pet peeve of mine - one of many – but near the top of the list.

There is no excuse for putting kids in danger; having a meeting and voting to proceed against the health guidelines is democratically agreeing to do the wrong thing.

Conspiracy is a legal term, it may fit here.

  • Those that voted to proceed should be disciplined.
  • Those that voted not to proceed but went along with the majority should be disciplined.
  • Attorneys who gather like sharks looking for who to sue should take note – maybe a jury needs to decide if this was reckless endangerment?  -smf
