RECOMMENDATIONS THRICE REMOVED: “As a reminder, advisory votes are only recommendations to me. They are not a binding vote. I will include the results of the advisory vote recommendations in my final recommendations to the board.” PSC UPDATE: SUPERINTENDENT’S LETTER, REVISED SCHEDULE OF MEETINGS & ADVISORY VOTE SCHEDULE AND PROTOCOL.

Those would be the votes of parents. Of teachers and staff. Of students. Of the entire school community. Even the superintendent’s “final recommendations” are only recommendations.

The “choice” in the public school choice resolution lies exclusively with Board of Education. -smf
