October 2010 Cash Deferral

13 October 2010 - Today, CDE released the following information: “The California Department of Education (CDE) has posted an important letter about the new cash deferral that will occur in October 2010 and the process to apply for an exemption. The process for an exemption as provided in the letter was made clear to us on October 12, 2010.

Applications from school districts and charter schools are due by statute THIS FRIDAY October 15, 2010, and applications from county offices are due October 14, 2010.
