U P D A T E D: The Governor isn’t the only one reducing funding to schools; LAUSD BOARD OF ED ELIMINATES FEDERAL FUNDS FOR 23 SCHOOLS

12. Board of Education Report No. 120 – 11/12          ADOPTED
Office of the Superintendent
(Fiscal Year 2012-13 Title I Eligibility) Recommends approval of a change to the percentage of
eligible students at a school necessary for a school to receive Title 1 funding from 40% to 50%
which will remove 23 schools from the list of schools that will receive funding next year.
