September 2, 2010| A group of concerned Los Angeles parents are planning to take action to improve what they say is a dangerous local school.
New California legislation, known as the "trigger law," enables parents to take over a school they feel is failing to meet standards.
The parents from Mount Gleason Middle School sat down and spoke to CNN's Thelma Gutierrez about the new legislation and what they are doing to ensure a better education for their children.
