The Los Angeles Unified School District officially revised its interdistrict transfer policy March 17, requiring 80 percent of its students attending other district schools on permit to return to their neighborhood campuses.

●●smf: Requiring 80%?  There’s a a quota for the mandated repatriation?  One almost expects the leather trench-coated border policeman on the school bus: “Let me see zee papers…”

Parents may soon find themselves at Rick’s in Casablanca – making shady deals for interdistict permits.
