Majority in Assembly just voted to pass Steinberg's SB 84 (QEIA funding) on third reading.
- NOTE: QEIA is the Quality Education Investment Act, it reduces some class sizes in some schools.
- The bill still needs to pass the Senate before midnight* tonight and be signed by the governor.
* Legislative midnight. Clocks have been known to have been stopped – and curtains drawn against the rising sun!
4LAKid's observers observe that the bill was held up in the Assembly this AM because the politicos wanted to discuss the 710 Freeway – if you live in in Northeast LA \you know this as The NIMBY Toll Road & Tunnel Project!
